Artist Statement
My current mixed-media paintings explore three series: Archeog, Wall Series and Allegorical Element. Each series is constructed on wood panels and executed in mixed media. The painting surfaces are low reliefs (slightly three dimensional) and symbollicaly represent elements in our visual environmnet not necessarily intendend for public consumption. The paintings transcend illusionism and become object-like with an emphasis on color harmony.
